Do Dham Yatra – Ex-Delhi 2024
DURATION: 6 NIGHTS / 7 DAYS
The journey starts from Delhi to Haridwar, where you’ll witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. From there, travel to Guptkashi, and then to Kedarnath to visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple. Afterward, head to Badrinath for darshan at the Badrinath Temple and a dip in the Tapt Kund (Hot Spring). Explore Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and other temples. Next, visit Rudraprayag and see the Panch Prayags of the Garhwal Himalayas. Visit Rishikesh to see Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula before returning to Haridwar and concluding your trip with a return to Delhi.
DAY 01: DELHI – HARIDWAR (222 KM: 6 TO 7 HRS)
Arrive in New Delhi and embark on a scenic drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, head to Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges River. Experience the spiritual atmosphere and serenity of the holy city. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Haridwar.
DAY 02: HARIDWAR – GUPTKASHI (203 KM: 7 TO 8 HRS)
After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel in Haridwar and proceed on a picturesque drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and settle in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the charming town of Guptkashi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel or camp in Guptkashi.
DAY 03: GUPTKASHI – PHATA – KEDARNATH – PHATA – GUPTKASHI (BY Trecking)
Early in the morning, drive to Phata Helipad, where you will board your helicopter for a scenic flight to Kedarnath. Upon arrival, you will have 1-2 hours for darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, with priority darshan tickets available exclusively for helicopter passengers. After the sacred visit, return to Phata by helicopter. Once back at the helipad, vehicles will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Guptkashi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Guptkashi.
Day 04: Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (200 KM: 7 to 8 Hrs)
On this day, you will check out of your hotel in the morning and begin your journey to Badrinath via Joshimath. The drive takes you along scenic Ghat roads, offering picturesque views, before you finally reach Badrinath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for some rest and refreshments. In the evening, you will head to the Badrinath Temple for darshan. But first, make sure to visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), where you can take a rejuvenating bath before proceeding to the temple. The Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, stands 15 meters tall and is designed in the form of a cone with a small cupola adorned with a gilt bull and spire. After the darshan, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 05: BADRINATH – JOSHIMATH – BIRAHI/RUDRAPRAYAG/SRINAGAR
On the fifth day of your journey, you’ll start with a visit to Badrinath for darshan at the famous temple. After the darshan, return to your hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing around Badrinath, including visits to Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti Temple. In the afternoon, you will drive to Rudraprayag, passing through Karanprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax or explore the town. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Rudraprayag.
DAY 06: BIRAHI/RUDRAPRAYAG/SRINAGAR – RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, begin your journey towards Rishikesh, the spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Once you arrive, enjoy sightseeing, including a visit to the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, iconic suspension bridges that offer stunning views of the Ganges. In the evening, drive back to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a restful evening. Enjoy dinner and relax with an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 07: HARIDWAR – DELHI (225 KM / 6 TO 7 HRS)
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will begin the final leg of your Chardham Yatra journey. Drive back to Delhi, and upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey.
